Remote Finance Coordinator
About the Role
The Remote Finance Coordinator manages all financial transactions for the university from a remote location. This includes reconciliation of bank statements, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating financial reports. The candidate must be proficient in Quickbooks and other accounting software. The Coordinator communicates with staff and the university’s financial team to help create efficiency and accuracy in the university's finances.
Key Responsibilities
- check_circle Maintain the Finance Team's calendar along with required bookkeeping tasks
- check_circle Make daily transaction entries on the university's accounting software such as Quickbooks
- check_circle Work with staff to maintain policies compliance, reconcile budget reports, and other relevant activities
- check_circle Track financial data across the university team
- check_circle Communicate findings from financial transactions report
Qualifications
- check_circle Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field
- check_circle Three years' experience with Quickbooks and/or other relevant software
- check_circle Proven leadership ability and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- check_circle Ability to meet deadlines and budget
- check_circle Excellent skills in planning, organizing, and presentation
