Budget Analyst

About the Role

The Budget Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the university's annual operating budget. This includes analyzing budget proposals, preparing financial reports, and providing recommendations to management on resource allocation. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Experience with budgeting software and financial modeling is essential for success in this position, along with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools to produce accurate and timely financial information.
